Breakfast: I need to fix this immediately, I've stopped eating breakfast.
Lunch: Small salad (Lettuce, pepper, mushroom, baby carrot, chick peas, kidney beans, cherry tomato, cucumber...I kinda forgot to put salad dressing on it, woops...I'll get through. Frank's Red Hot? Don't mind if I do.
Update: Oh man that's hot, I put a lot on there...
Dinner: Amy's "Texas Burger" Veggie Burger and some barbecue flavored Popchips. So far, these veggie burgers win in terms of the texture. The "texas burger" also has a nice bbq flavor. I added lettuce ketchup and cheddar cheese, it was good.
good on you to realize the need squash to no-breakfast thing. that's a killer. although since i eat PB+J for breakfast and lunch - and this was even before i went catholically meatless - i probably shouldn't talk. the salad sounds good, i love the chick peas. i made a tremendous lasagna last night. lots of spinach (LOTS) and sauteed onions and garlic didn't make us miss the presence of meat.
ReplyDeletekeep it up and great blog G.
Mr. Frech, are you vegetarian? PB&J is a great breakfast, I used to keep the ingredients at work, I should re-stock. Thanks for the suggestion. Also, the lasagna sounds great. Thanks for reading.
ReplyDeletejust for lent -- i do believe we are going through the exact same thing. i do the PBJ with whole wheat bread that's busting with fiber, which is a nice touch. keeps me full!
